As most of you know, I am the Sommelier/F&B Manager at Stonehedge Inn’s restaurant, Left Bank. As of next week, we will be launching an amazing fine food and wine opportunity. Besides our “Celebration of Wine” Wine Dinners, I have personally put together the “Appreciating Vintage Wine” Dinner Series.
The first installment of this series will take place this coming Friday (3/12) at 6:30PM. The cost is $150/person and includes a 3 course meal as well as the wines to be served. The innaugural tasting is “Celebrating Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 1987-1990 and includes:
- 2001 Schramsberg, Brut Rose – a delightful way to wake up your palate
- 1987 Grgich Hills
- 1988 Livingston, Moffet Vineyard
- 1989 Robert Mondavi Winery, Reserve
- 1990 B.V. Georges de Latour, Private Reserve
